What Services Does Monarch Hospice Provide?
Through our Team of Hospice Professionals, Monarch Hospice provides the following services 24 hours a day – 365 days a year:
- Comprehensive medical care and management including frequent nursing assessments.
- Medications related to the Hospice diagnosis that enhance comfort and quality of life.
- Medical supplies and equipment that promote comfort and independence.
- Assistance with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Support of the patient and family with the emotional and spiritual issues related to loss and the end of life.
- Coordination of community resources to assist the patient and family with non-medical concerns.
- Educate the family and/or caregivers on how to care for and provide comfort to the patient.
- Bereavement Services and counseling to family members, as well as community members dealing with loss.
- Volunteers to provide companionship, respite and emotional support as well as other kinds of assistance.
- Deliver special services such as speech, physical, occupational therapies and dietitian consults when needed.
- Integrative Therapies including Journaling, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, and many others that enhance comfort and a sense of well being.
